Testimonials

To Whom It May Concern,

I wanted to thank Mitch and his team for such a great experience. When Rea of Hope was ready to hire a contractor for our New Life Apartment project on the East End, I had an idea of what to expect; delays, arguments with contractors, workers not showing up, job completion way past deadline, over budget, etc., in other words, a real nightmare. Selecting your company was the best decision we ever made; working with you and your workers was, OK I'll say it, a pleasant and fun experience. Management, supervisors, skilled and unskilled laborers were all polite, friendly, eager to help and answer my many questions and even put up politely with my suggestions. This was not our first project and there were some other parts of this job subbed out; what I learned was that you were the only contractor who came in on time, under budget and stayed in daily contact with me. Your company changed my ideas and my expectations of building and rehab projects.I now know it is possible to have a polite and trusting working experience with mutual respect and admiration for each others skills. I would not hesitate in recommending your company for any job and I look forward to our next project..

Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:

FamilyCare has relied on Mitch and his team to guide us through several renovations and expansions over the past few years. They perform a remarkable job for us finishing on time and on budget. We are always very pleased with the end result. During the construction, they keep me notified of all aspects of the job and help me plan accordingly so as to not interrupt our daily routine. They make my job as Project Manager very easy since they are so easy to deal with. The crew, as well, was very nice and respectful. We are so pleased that we will continue to use them in the future for all of our building needs.

If you should have additional questions, please feel free to call me at (304) 757-6999 ext 28 or e-mail me at Fran.Coleman@FamilyCareWV.org.

Sincerely,
Fran Coleman

To Whom It May Concern:

King's River Worship Center needed to transform an old drug store into a modern church type facility suitable for worship, child care and Sunday School type activities to accommodate a congregation of some 150 people. David Mitchell acted as Project Manager for us on this project. To meet our time schedule this work had to be accomplished within a very short time frame.

There were many extra demands places on this project because we changed the occupancy use of the building. These demands required that we obtain multiple permits, develop architectural plans, update the building to current codes and regulations of city zoning laws, while satisfying the needs of the city building inspector and the state fire marshall.

In this project there were many concealed conditions, asbestos, inadequate plumbing and code deficient wiring, which could not be anticipated and could only be addressed once they were exposed during the demolition stage. Since this is leased space, and all improvement costs were to be borne by us, it was critical to our needs to keep the upgrade costs to a minimum while attempting to maximize the use and visual appearance of the facility. To help reduce construction job costs we also asked the contractor to allow us the opportunity to break out some of the work tasks so that we could accomplish those with volunteer help.

I am reasonably sure that this project would be considered a nightmare type project for most contractors. I am pleased to report that Mitch, as Project Manager, took the project on with enthusiasm, was extremely proactive in working through the maze of permits, inspections and code requirements, did an excellent job of cost containment on all scope changes and coordinated well with those volunteers and outside services engaged by us.

It is unusual in this day and age to find a contractor who truly becomes a part of your team and who looks out for your interests as much as they do for their own interests. In our opinion, Mitch and his team is one such contractor. We do not hesitate to recommend them for this type of work and would not hesitate to use them again for similar type work. We only hope that we were as much of a blessing to them as they were to us.

Sincerely,
King's River Worship Center

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter in support of the firm Mitchell Building Services, LLC. I have become familiar with this construction company over the past few months through my constituent business network.

Mitchell Building Services have also recently come to my attention in that they advised that they have qualified as the first Certified Green General Contractor in West Virginia, certified by Green Advantage, Inc. Green construction is in its development stage and I commend Mitchell Building Services for taking a proactive approach to this new construction ideology.

I have observed the quality of construction provided by this firm during events staged at their clients' facilities: Family Care Hills Plaza, Rea of Hope Fellowship Home New Life Apartments; and during recent meetings with an entrepreneurial mentoring group. Based on this information, I would recommend the consideration of Mitchell Building Services.

If I can be of any further service, please feel free to contact my office.

Sincerely,
